A sense of history is a part of life at Trinity Church.
Episcopal services in the village of Rocky Hill were first recorded in 1840. Services were held in the private homes of rectors of Trinity Church in Princeton until July 1864, when the present church was consecrated. The church was built from plans ordered by mail and so it is often referred to as a "mail order" church. A parish hall, for use by not only the church, but also others from the community, was built in 1901. A kitchen, additional classrooms and other space were added in the early 1950s. More recently, a Memorial Garden was dedicated in 2001 and continues to evolve into a major enhancement to the church and surrounding grounds.
